PAPER BOWL JELLYFISH CRAFT

You will need:

• Small paper bowl
• Tissue paper
• Gift bow
• googly eyes
• string
• glue
• scissors

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Start by cutting up your tissue paper into square pieces. Use different colours.
2. Turn your paper bowl upside down and add glue all over the bottom of it and the sides. Put your tissue paper squares all over your bowl. Let your glue dry.
3. Use the scissors to poke a small hole in the centre of your paper bowl. 
4. Push your string through the hole, tie a knot in the end and tape. 
5. Glue your curly gift bow to the inside of the bowl. You will want to position it, so it hangs down from the centre of the bowl. 
6. Finish your jellyfish craft by glueing on googly eyes.

CEREAL BOX AQUARIUM 18 th May

This week we are going to do a cereal box aquarium. Kids can choose how they want to decorate their aquarium, what colored fish and what colors! There are many options and ways to build an aquarium. I would love to see how you make yours!

What you need:

• A cereal box or a shoe box
• Colored cardstock or white paper (you can paint the paper)
• Green paper
• Blue paint
• Sand or brown play dough
• Stones
• Shells
• String
• Glue
• Scissors

Instructions:

1. First, you need to cut out the center of your box (adults only do this part)
2. Paint the inside of your box a blue color and paint the outside of your box the color you like.
3. Now you can decorate your aquarium however you like it! you can add stones, sand or brown play dough, shells, and green paper (cut some strips of green paper and glue to the bottom of your box to make it look like seaweed).
4. Cut out your fish. You can use orange, yellow and red colors so they would pop in the aquarium.
5. Glue on eyes to your fish.
6. Take a small piece of string and tape it to the back of your fish. 
7. Glue on the top of your cereal box                                        

Now you have a finished cereal box aquarium. We hope you had a lot of fun.

TOILET PAPER ROLL BEE CRAFT 11 th May

 Toilet Paper Roll Bee Craft

What you need:

• Paper roll
• eyes stickers 
• yellow, light blue and black paper 
• scissors
• glue stick
• black marker

Instructions:

1. Cut a strip of yellow paper, it needs to be the same width as the paper roll.
2. Apply glue and wrap the paper around the paper roll.
3. Cut strips from black paper and wrap a few around the bottom part of the toilet paper roll.
4. Draw eyes, mouth (and other detail if you wish) with marker. 

Now you have a nice-looking toilet paper roll bee craft.

Hello! How are you?

We are in Spring and nature is more beautiful than ever.  During the month of May, we are going to do activities related to Spring and nature.

This week we are going to create a Birds Nest Collage.

You will need:

Large paper plate  

Brown paint

Thin brown paper 

Colored paper or white paper and paints

Glue

Instructions:

Paint the back of the plate brown and leave to dry. Cut in half.

Cut the brown paper into strips and glue them to the plate.

Cut 3 ovals from coloured paper and glue them along the edge of the plate.

Add a yellow beak and two eyes to each.
